Our half day Taste of Whitewater Trip is great for beginners and families offering fun, Class II & III level rapids that will create lifelong memories of thrills and excitement. Our advanced Blast of Whitewater Trip offers one of the most exciting sections of whitewater in the state with almost continuous Class III & IV Level rapids. Either trip will be the highlight of your Colorado vacation!
Outstanding River Guides!
The experienced staff at A Wanderlust Adventure sets the company apart from other outfitters that raft in this unique canyon. Seven of our guides have worked on the Poudre River for over 12 seasons. The rest of our staff average six years of guiding experience. Most of our guides are college graduates who work as outdoor professionals and teachers during the winter months. Safety is our highest priority and all of our guides our trained in CPR, First Aid and Swift Water Rescue. Many of the guides in the company are EMT's or have Wilderness First Responder training. The family atmosphere of A Wanderlust Adventure makes this a unique company to work for and this brings the staff back season after season. We care about each other and we care about you! Two of the most important values of A Wanderlust Adventure are excellent service and customer satisfaction. It takes a great staff to provide this kind of service and we are proud to have the best guides on the Poudre River!
We not only want you to have a fantastic time on the river but we want you to learn something about the area too. Our interpretive program allows our staff to teach you about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the canyon while you are enjoying the excitement and serenity of the river. Everyone is hungry after whitewater rafting and we are the only company partnered up with a great restaurant. Vern's Restaurant, located at our meeting area, offers home cooked meals before or after your rafting adventure.
We keep you warm with the Free use of Fleece Pullovers and Waterproof Paddle Jackets. Wetsuit rentals are also available. Our retail store sells Wanderlust T-shirts, fantastic digital photography with video and other souvenirs. If you have never rafted before this is your chance to experience great Colorado whitewater in a canyon that is breathtaking!
