The historic Bears Inn Bed and Breakfast has continuously operated as a lodging facility since its construction in 1928, with its quality and superior service recently recognized by the 2004 ³Award of Excellence² presented by the Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado.

Nestled among pines at 8,000 feet, enjoy a true mountain experience in our charming 11 room historic inn with a 2-bedroom cabin. The new owner's have tastefully redecorated the rooms with unique themes ranging from the Poet's Corner to the Nantucket, to the Safari.

Enjoy our cozy bathrobes around the fire in the magnificent great room or while tip toeing thru the snow to our large outdoor hot tub. Gorgeous views of Mt. Evans and local wildlife can be enjoyed from our outdoor gas campfires, our large deck or garden areas.

Our 1920's charming log cabin is newly redecorated with two bedrooms -- one with a queen bed and one with bunk beds -- perfect for a family of 4. It has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lodge style living room with wood burning fireplace and a deck with amazing views. Amenities include: 2 cable TV's, a CD player and antique claw foot tub and shower.

Begin your day with a gourmet candlelight breakfast or we'll pack it to go on an early morning hike.

Afternoon teas by reservation. Catering for special occasions such as birthdays, bridal and baby showers, book clubs, Red Hat societies, Bible studies and any other celebrations.

Great for a romantic getaway.

Please note that we do not allow smoking inside our building, but do have an outdoor area that has been designated. Thank you.
