Visit historic Idaho Springs with its convenient location to many of Colorado's mountain and Denver Metro activities. Brunswick building with store fronts on the first floor and condos on the 2nd floor was built in two phases around 1880. The 2nd floor was completely remodeled in 2007 and the flat features granite countertops, hickory cabinets and hardwood flooring. This luxury loft suite has a cozy bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom, full kitchen and living room with a high definition 32 inch LCD flat panel TV with DVD player.
Clear Creek County is known for its mining history where Colorado's first gold discovery was in 1859. Currently, there are two mining tours that operate locally. The Historical downtown area has many buildings built between 1880 & 1910. These buildings are part of a historical district that is listed on a the national register.
It's an easy drive to gambling in Central City/Blackhawk (15 minutes) and world class skiing (25 to 50 minutes). The closest ski resort is Loveland Ski Area. Downtown Denver is a 30 minute drive. Local attractions include the Indian Hot Springs, Mt. Evans Scenic Byway, whitewater rafting on the Colorado River and Clear Creek, along with fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, backroading on ATVs and Jeeps, and of course sightseeing. Beau Jo's Pizza, Buffalo Bar, Mangia & Tommy Knockers Brewery are just steps away from your door.
