Staged PRCA Event Attract Competitors from Around the Country
2018 RODEO SEASON -- 118th Annual Cattlemen's Days Rodeo in Gunnison at the Fred R. Field Western Heritage Center, located one block south of Highway 50 in Gunnison, behind the Safeway.
For more than a century, the Gunnison Valley has celebrated its western way of life with annual demonstrations of roping, racing and riding skills. This annual get-together of local cowboys and cowgirls is a PRCA event that attracts the world's top cowboys, the best livestock from across the country, and much more.
Cattlemen's Days features a county fair, parade, carnival, live music and dancing, horse shows, horse races, and of course rodeo events sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).
FRIDAY, July 6th Cattlemen's Days 4-H Horse Show.
SATURDAY, July 7th Ranch Rodeo.
SUNDAY, July 8th Open Horse Show.
MONDAY, July 9th 4-H GENERAL PROJECT, 4-H Dog Obedience Show, Team Ranch Sorting, 4-H Project Revue and Auction, Cowboy Poetry at The I Bar Ranch.
TUESDAY, July 10th 4-H Fiber Sheep & Goat Show, The Famous Cattlemen's Days TETWP Concert and Auction.
WEDNESDAY, July 11th 4-H Rabbit and Poultry Show and Watershed Team Roping & Barrel Racing Auction, Pioneer Banquet At The Elks Lodge.
THURSDAY, July 12th Tough Enough To Wear Pink Rodeo with Evening Rodeo, 4-H Market Sheep Show, Swine Show, TETWP Dance at The Elks Lodge, and Carnival at the Rodeo Grounds.
FRIDAY, July 13th Patriot Night Rodeo, PRCA Evening Rodeo 4-H Meat Goat Show, 4-H Cattle Show, Dance at the Elks Lodge, and Evening Carnival at the Rodeo Grounds.
SATURDAY, July 14th Cattlemen's Days Parade, 4-H Livestock Buyers BBQ, 4-H Scholarship Presentation, Evening Carnival at the Rodeo Grounds, PRCA Evening Rodeo- Family Night, bring the whole Family! Concert at I-Bar Ranch.
SUNDAY, July 15th Cowboy Church Services/FCA Services -Rodeo Grounds and Team Sorting.

TICKETS GO ON SALE JULY 1, 2018: Buy your Event Tickets at the Cattlemen's Days ticket booth at Gunnison Bank & Trust. OR Buy your Tickets at the door. Cost $15 for general admission; $20 for reserved grandstand seating. Each child under 12 accompanied by a paid adult is free (general admission) or $5 for grandstand Seating.
