D & G Horses and Outfitting is a family owned and operated outfitting and guide business. We are western Colorado natives and have lived in the Upper Frying Pan River Valley 26 years. Reudi Reservoir (a 1,000 acre lake) is located in our backyard and the Frying Pan River is a gold medal river that is world known.

Dale, Gail and their daughter Leah have a true love for the great outdoors and horses.

Join us on one of our spectacular trail rides through the White River National Forest in Colorado.

COLORADO TRAIL RIDES: The daily rides range from 2 hours for the novice riders to an all day Colorado trail ride for the more adventurous. Come enjoy a hearty breakfast cooked over an open fire on our breakfast ride or grab your fishing pole and join us on a ride to a high mountain lake. Catch the wildflowers in bloom during June and July or witness the Aspen color change and listen to the bugling elk during September.

Our trail rides will take you through high country meadows and through the black timber. You will have a great view of the Continental Divide. Watch the deer and the elk along the way, and be sure to bring your camera. There is always a spot for the special family photo.

DROP CAMPS AND GUIDED HUNTS: We hunt in game management units 47 and 444. Drop camps and guided hunts are offered for archery, muzzle loading, and all rifle seasons for Colorado elk hunts. We take a limited number of hunters each year so we can give everyone the personal attention they deserve and make sure you have a top quality Colorado elk hunt.

PACK TRIPS: We offer pack services into the wilderness and backcountry for those that want a more ECONOMICAL AND DO-IT-YOURSELF TRIP. We can pack your equipment and food by pack mules into the back country or wilderness and leave you for up to a 10 day stay at one of our permitted campsites. We would check on you during your stay and pack your equipment out at the end of your camping trip.

ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. A 50% deposit is required to reserve space on all trips. The balance is due and payable upon arrival for each trip. Payment is accepted by cash or certified funds.

CANCELLATIONS: Deposits for all trips shall be refundable if cancellations are received 60 days or more prior to the trip date. For cancellations received 60 days or less of the trip date, the deposit shall not be refundable. No refunds or credit shall be given for early departures or late arrivals on any trip.
