Experience Colorado rugged mountains Horseback riding on a private ranch in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, near to top of Poncha Pass 18 miles southwest of Salida. All experience levels are welcome -- Every ride is a safe ride!
Great for families, groups and beginners, horseback riding is always a vacation highlight that both the young and old will remember for years to come. Riders need to be at least 6 years old. We offer 1 and 2 hour rides along with half and full day rides. IF you're looking for a little romance, try our 2 hour's sunset ride.
Our most popular ride is 2 hours and starts at $45 per rider. We average 4-6 riders per trip, ensuring a personalized experience.
We also offer pony rides for younger children.
What to Bring: long pants, jacket (rain slickers -- Colorado is known for short afternoon sprinkles), hat (hopefully cowboy), sun glasses, sun screen, camera, snacks and drinking water are all make your trip that much more pleasant.
