Experience Colorado rugged mountains Horseback riding on a private ranch in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, near to top of Poncha Pass 18 miles southwest of Salida. All experience levels are welcome -- A Ride of a Lifetime!

Great for families, groups and beginners, horseback riding is always a vacation highlight that both the young and old will remember for years to come. Riders need to be at least 6 years old. We offer 1 and 2 hour rides along with half and full day rides. IF you're looking for a little romance, try our 2 hour's sunset ride.

Our most popular ride is 2 1/2 hours and starts at $55 per rider. We average 4-6 riders per trip, ensuring a personalized experience.

We also offer pony rides for younger children.

What to Bring: long pants, jacket (rain slickers -- Colorado is known for short afternoon sprinkles), hat (hopefully cowboy), sun glasses, sun screen, camera, snacks and drinking water are all make your trip that much more pleasant.

Located: Denver is 245 miles away. Within a short drive of Salida, Buena Vista, Villa Grove and Saguache. 1.4 miles south of Poncha Pass (Highway 285) on Dorsey Creek. Call for reservations and directions: 719-530-0480.
