Engineers Pass is not a hard core trail an ATV, UTV or Jeep should be able the make it without any problems. Explore 65 miles of spectacular peaks and narrow glacial valleys, including two 12,000 foot passes and well-preserved remains of stamp mills, tramways, and ghost towns from the mining boom of the late 1800s. Engineers Pass offers great scenery with waterfalls, small lakes, plus mountains meadows. The trail starts right off the main road. A good place to stop is Whitmore Falls; it's a large waterfall that can't be seen from the road and the short but steep hike is well worth the effort to see the falls. The summit offers great views in every direction. Many of the regions' fourteeners are visible! We take the ATV's to the Trailhead and pick them up when you're done. We provide Helmets, hand guards and maps of authorized trails. GUIDED ALPINE LOOP TOURS: We offer 2-hour, 4-hour, and full day.
