Maybell RV Park
970-326-8920
Maybell is along the Yampa River and is about 30 miles downstream from Craig. This is rugged Colorado, covered with juniper trees and sage bush. You are likely to see elk and eagles. To the west is Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge, 13,500 acres of protected wetlands with horse trails, birding, and hiking trails.
This laid back campground is off Highway 40. No reservations needed -- 1st come, 1st served, we believe in the honor system! Park in the perimeter, next to the large grassy area, showers are $2, restrooms are clean. We have a dump station and potable water.
The hunting is great! There are dog agility trials in June. Call: 970-326-8920.
