At Royal Gorge Rafting you are offered a clean, friendly and personable environment. You will have the use of new, state-of-the-art self bailing rafts, along with all of our new river gear.
The Royal Gorge is one of the best Whitewater Rafting runs in Colorado, from the most amazing scenery of the sheer 1200' cliff walls that surround you to rafting beneath the worlds highest suspension bridge and the excitement you will find running through challenging class IV, V rapids. Good physical condition is recommended at high water levels and the minimum age is dependent upon varied water levels. (Minimum age 12 depending upon water levels).
The Bighorn Sheep Canyon is a beautiful and classic stretch of river often referred to as "the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas". This section is a great place for your first rafting experience and for those experienced alike. You will find tranquil and calm areas to relax in as well. Enjoy the magnificent scenery while watching for many of the local Bighorn Sheep that make this canyon home.
