    Built in 1905, our main lodge offers rustic elegance and historic charm. Originally built as a boarding house for South Fork's sawmill workers, the main lobby boasts a beautiful native river rock fireplace, hardwood floors, and an old-time ambiance.

    Enjoy a worry-free relaxing stay. All pets welcome.

    The Spruce Lodge is the only hotel in town serving a full hot breakfast. Our award-winning restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and serves a variety of menu items. A full breakfast buffet is served on Sundays. "A century away from the ordinary."

    Owner/concierge who will ensure a hassle-free stay by anticipating and responding to your needs as well as explaining, recommending and reserving the best South Fork has to offer.

    Our beautiful cedar wood hot tub room is spacious and comfortable. The tub seats six and is a great placed to relax.

    Conveniently located on Highway 160 in South Fork, The Spruce Lodge is close to everything the mountains have to offer.

    The beautiful new Rio Grande Club 18-hole golf course runs along the river behind our lodge. We are only 18 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area. One-half mile east of the center of town, a great base camp for all your mountain adventures.
