    Journey to a high-country retreat in the picturesque San Juan Mountains. The lodge, adjacent to the Weminuche Wilderness area, offers 7 NEW lodge rooms/suites, some with kitchenettes (fully equipped), some with decks.

    The kids will have fun on the playground. Adults can pitch horseshoes or play volleyball, badminton and basketball. New pavilion is great for groups and family reunions. Surrounded by so much wilderness, you'll want to rent horses and boats, fish in the lakes and rivers, hike and take pictures. A country market is next door.

    Virginia's Steak House since 1978 is known for delicious food and friendly service in a unique and rustic atmosphere. You may also dine on their outdoor deck. Dinner are served year around. Serving only Black Angus beef plus fresh seafood and pasta. Full bar and enjoyable wines.

    Vallecito Lake, located 23 miles northwest of Durango, lies under the snow-capped peaks of the San Juan National Forest. This lake is an angler's delight ‹ fish for rainbow trout, kokanee salmon and northern pike. Several boat ramps and docks surround the 22-mile lake shoreline.

    We also own & operate: Circle S Lodge Cabins 7 NEW lodge rooms & suites, some kitchenettes & decks. NEW pavilion for groups. The Steak House is known for delicious food in a rustic atmosphere near Vallecito Lake, NE of Durango. Packages available.
