Bungalow
Overhanging the lake, where the mist hangs low on the surface of the water, a queen bed faces the sunrise and billowing lace curtains reflect the water's rippling patterns. A full bath with old-fashioned claw foot bathtub and hand-held shower sits below a carved wood and stained glass archway. In the sunroom a twin bed with a "pop-up" makes a king or two twins. Enjoy meals in the exquisite dining room, your woods table, or on a deck. A small porch faces west to the herb garden, fruit trees, massive old pinion and junipers. A second deck faces the lake and mountains. Watch ball games on Direct TV. This cabin is perfect for 1-2 people, but will accommodate up to 4 using the day bed and trundle in the sunroom.
Set alone amid gardens and forest, guests comment; "The east facing covered deck rivals any place on earth on a sunny morning or a starry night, and is perfect for meals, reading, yoga and stargazing." Sounds of the stream are often heard woven with the whir of hummingbirds' wings. Eat at a picnic table in the back or hide in the wildflowers. The bedroom has a scrumptious queen bed and carved lattice screens. In the living room a twin bed doubles as a chaise with a trundle underneath. A single futon can be used on the deck or in front of the fireplace. The kitchen faces a grove of pine, juniper and herb gardens. Soaking or showering with the luxurious bath products adds a sense of contentment. This cabin is equally lovely as a honeymoon retreat, a getaway or a child's delight. It is exquisite for couples, or small families. It accommodates up to four people.
A majestic 40 foot ceiling soars above dramatic views of the lake and the mountains. A large, sunny kitchen that faces the gardens and the lake. The dining room and large deck are idyllic for meals. A cozy sitting room upstairs can be used for reading, movies, music or Direct TV. A full bath has easy access for anyone in the house. The master bedroom with queen bed has spectacular views of lake and mountains. The "loft" bedroom has a full double bed looking at treetops and stars. A futon can be used on the deck or floor.
