Bluebird Backcountry
The only resort of its kind in Colorado, opened for its first full season in 2020 on Bear Mountain, between Kremmling and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. All the basics in one place: rentals, lessons, education, and a lodge to warm up.
New for 2022: Camping on-site in the Bear Mountain parking lot, two free days at Arapahoe Basin for season pass holders, and ski-with-your-dog weekdays. On the lower side of the Northeast Face there are new green/blue runs and a blue run. There are four extreme runs on the backside known as Couloir Zone; and on the North Face, there are six new black runs.
