Anchorage Farm

b&bs romance horses

303-838-5430

Stay at our beautiful mountain horse ranch 40 miles southwest of downtown Denver. Upscale accommodations include feather beds, whirlpool tubs for two, flower gardens, waterfalls and gourmet breakfasts. We offer dressage instruction year round. Beautiful, gentle show-quality Arabian and German warmblood horses. Open year round. 12 acres adjacent to forests. Views. Quiet, romantic and very relaxing.

Voted best horse lovers B&B in USA!

Become enchanted at Anchorage Farm. Romantic lighting outdoors and indoors. Scented candles, fresh flowers, feather beds, fireplaces, outdoor hot tub, indoor whirlpool tubs for two. Secluded picnic spots and hiking trails.

A full gourmet breakfast is served at 8:00 am. Summer gourmet breakfast under the pergola by the waterfall. Winter in-room breakfasts for two or by the fireplace. Every breakfast is SPECIAL -- including a gourmet egg dish, home-baked bread or pastry, fresh fruit drink and fresh fruit dish in season. Guests delight in the flower gardens, the hummingbirds and the violet green swallows tending to nests in nearby bird houses.

Our standard one-night getaway with horseback riding includes a 90-minute lesson for two people. Weather permitting, we split time between a lesson indoors and a trail ride up the mountain behind Anchorage Farm. FREE WI-FI (wireless internet).

The short trail ride (generally offered May-October) is something nearly everyone raves about. We ride through the woods and up to an overlook. Views include portions of both Mt. Evans and Lost Creek wilderness.

SORRY: No kids, no smoking, no RVs, no pets.
