Platte River Cabins at White Pines
303-838-9195
Planning to visit Pike National Forest and the famous Gold Medal fly-fishing waters of Cheesman Canyon on the South Platte River? How about rock climbing on Elephant Rock or mountain biking on the Colorado Trail? Well, you've come to the right town and the right place.
Originally built in 1878 as a work camp for Denver South Platte Railroad. Each of the private river (the Platte) front housekeeping cabins is distinctive and has amenities you'll find at an excellent hotel. Modern new appliances; bright, clean, tastefully decorated furnishings; and the spacious decks (some with hot tubs) overlooking the river. None of the cabins have TVs, VCRs, telephones, or other modern distractions. The area is a Mecca for fly-fishing, mountain biking, kayaking and hiking.
ROMANCE PACKAGES include two nights accommodations in a river front cabin with a private hot tub, two hot stone mini massages about 50 minutes each, one floral bouquet, a bottle of champagne and a fruit basket or customized to suit you. Call for rates.
Guests say, "We've only been here three days, yet we feel like we've already enjoyed a weeks vacation. It's so restful!"
