GR Bar Ranch: Cattle - Vacation - Hunting
800-523-6832
A family-owned cattle, vacation and hunting ranch located high in the picturesque Colorado Rocky Mountains will provide you a vacation long to remember. You will have four fully furnished, rustic cabins from which to choose.
Each cabin is nestled by its self in stands of aspen with meadows of wild flowers, stocked trout fishing water, boat dock, swimming, wild life, birds, dear, elk, moose, and views of snowcapped mountains just off your cabin deck. Explore our working cattle ranch and adjoining Grand Mesa National Forest on hiking, biking, horseback and jeep trails. For horse enthusiasts, each cabin has its own corral and tack room -- horses and tack provided.
We are located 9 miles north of the quaint town of Paonia, along the West Elk Scenic Byway. A friendly ranching and farming community, Paonia is noted for its abundant fruit orchards, vineyards, wineries, and with its historical museum, art galleries, shops and great restaurants, you are sure to have a great time!
