Bordered by three mountain ranges, which offer commanding 360 views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Wildlife, native landscape and a hiking trail enrich the surrounding grounds. An expansive deck with hot tub allows guests to savor the views of the Mosquito Mountain range and Arkansas River Canyon. Traveling with your horse? We have stalls, paddocks and pastures available for horses of our overnight guests. The B&B Inn offers lodging with the tranquillity and seclusion of the mountains while having easy access to downtown Salida a 1-1/2 miles away. Constructed in 1979 as an exclusive private estate, this 4700 square foot dwelling was converted to Bed and Breakfast accommodations in early 1995. Overly large guest rooms and spacious common areas grace the B&B interior. We are very proud to announce our luxury style chalets nestled in the pinons with nothing but views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. They sleep up to six in 3 Queen beds, two baths, a cozy fireplace and full kitchen. The Great Room with vaulted ceilings covered in knotty pine features huge windows with mountain views. A large fireplace, TV with DVD/CD player, overstuffed couch and chairs highlight this room. The full kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, all pots and pans, and table service for six makes cooking meals a cinch.
