Great Sand Dunes Lodge offers peace and serenity at the entrance to Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Mosca, Colorado. GLAMPING: Experience our NEW Geodesic Dome featuring a queen bed, small heater, power outlet, and light. Enjoy restful nights and sunrise mornings on your deck chair with breathtaking views of the mountains, valley, and dunes. NOTE: Common bathrooms with flush toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs are within 150 feet for dome guests.

CAMPER SUITES: These large RV and camper units offer complete home comforts with full kitchens including full-size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, and electric or gas oven, plus all dishes and utensils. Each camper includes a walk-in shower, hair dryer, heating and air conditioning. Depending on the camper, sleeps 2-7 guests.

STANDARD ROOMS: Enjoy private patios overlooking the Great Sand Dunes, mountains, and valley, 2 queen beds, refrigerator, microwave, heating, A/C, private baths with shower in tub, and satellite TV.

DELUXE ROOMS: Feature a king bed in a larger, more spacious room with upscale furnishings and private patios facing west for watching glorious sunsets. Additional amenities include walk-in shower, full-size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, hair dryer, and satellite TV.

LODGE AMENITIES: Indoor swimming pool, satellite WiFi, BBQ gazebos with three gas grills (with utensils and propane tanks). Grab and Go breakfast for lodge room guest, Dogs allowed with a non-refundable fee in designated units, and walking-distance access to a full-service restaurant, gift shop, store, and laundry facilities in season. Buy-and-bake Papa Murphy's pizza available.

LOCATION: Great Sand Dunes Lodge is at 7900 Highway 150 North in Mosca, the lodge is about 30 minutes from Alamosa and is just minutes from Great Sand Dunes National Park attractions and trail access.

DRIVE TIMES: The lodge is a 2-hour drive from Trinidad, a 3-hour drive from Colorado Springs, 4 hours from Denver, and 7 hours from Fort Collins, heading southeast into Colorado's mountains. Plan a 5-hour drive from Grand Junction, and a 4-hour drive from Durango. From Albuquerque, New Mexico, the drive is about 5 hours northwest, and from Salt Lake City, Utah, it's about 10 hours southeast. Amarillo, Texas is 6 hours northeast. From Wichita, Kansas it's about 9 hours west, and from North Platte, Nebraska it's about 10 hours west.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Starting from Trinidad, Colorado, take I-25 North to exit 50 onto US 160 in Walsenburg; head west on US 160 over La Veta Pass and through Fort Garland; in 10 miles at the junction of SH 150 merge right (north) for 16-1/2 miles, turn right before the gas station and take the gravel road up the hill. From Durango, Colorado, take US 160 East over Wolf Creek Pass; in Mosca, US 160 merges with SH 17 heading north, and then continues East past San Luis State Wildlife Area; from here continue 11 miles, turn right before the gas station and take the gravel road up the hill.
