Join our way of life -- catch the fever of the great outdoors. We sell it, we teach it, we rent it, and most of all we live it!

What started in 1995 as a simple Kayak Shop, near the whitewater chutes at Confluence Park, has turned into a year-round wonderland of outdoor adventure.

We provide lessons, rentals, pro-outfitting, service and a retail shop with all the gear, tools, gadgets you need to take advantage of Colorado's great outdoors.

RIVER TRIPS FROM MAY - AUGUST. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Classes accommodate all skill levels. For beginners, the safest learning progression begins with an experienced instructor flat water, then advances to moving water on a river. Intermediate and advanced classes start on moving water.

We are Certified by the American Canoe Association, certified in advanced First Aid and CPR, and have been trained in swift water rescue.

RENTALS: Same day, overnight, weekend, and weekly

BICYCLE RENTALS: Just outside our door is a fantastic trail system with hundreds of miles of off-street paved riding. Follow the South Platte River and its tributaries: To the mountains, the plains, or the urban core attractions like the 16th Street Mall, the Capitol Building or Coors Field.

Our hybrid "townie" style bikes have 18 speeds and a front shock; They feature comfortable seats and an upright riding style. We also have "Cruiser" style bikes that are perfect for urban adventure. Our rates include a helmet and lock.

STANDUP-PADDLE-BOARD (SUP) RENTAL: The majority of our rental boards are inflatable for their superior durability in the river environment and maximum portability. This means you don't need a roof rack!

KAYAK, BOAT, TUBE RENTAL: We offer human powered boat rentals. Be sure to ask about their kayak Gear rental package: paddle, helmet, PD. Our equipment is current model year boats and gear in top condition. You can try the latest model paddles and PFDs before making an informed purchase.

SKI AND BACK COUNTRY RENTAL: We offer top quality skiing equipment from premier backcountry brands of AT, Telemark, and Avalanche equipment for rental. Whether you are planning a hut trip and need the whole package, or just want to try the latest models skis, we can set you up with the right gear.
