  • DOWNHILL SKIING is with an hour: Granby, Winter Park, Steamboat Springs
  • GREAT TROUT FISHING is a quick 5-25 minutes away: Lake John, Delaney Buttes, Lake Cowdrey, Michigan River, Illinois River, North Platte River, and Canadian River.
  • NORTH SAND DUNES RECREATION AREA offers 800 acres of FUN on Sand Dunes that are 20 minutes ways.
  • ARAPAHO NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE Headquarters is a short 10 minute drive.
  • MOOSE VISITOR CENTER in Gould is operated by the Colorado State Forest State Park; the center tells the story of the North Park moose.
  • WATERFALLS there are 2 an hour away. The closest one is Big Creek Falls.
