NATURITA RV PARK, along the Unaweep Tabeguache Scenic Byway (Highway SH 141), is east of Moab and west of Telluride. The area is filled with history: geological formations, Native American dwellings, petroglyphs, and hieroglyphics. This breathtaking scenic drive takes you through the ghost town of Uravan, Unaweep Canyon, and the San Miguel River Tabeguache Preserve.
RV SITES: Motorhomes towing UTVs or Jeeps and "Toterhomes" will love our 98-foot pull-thru sites that exit onto a public street. We have 36 landscaped full-hookup RV sites; many have 50 amp service.
NATURITA is a small town with a grocery store, gas station, shops, restaurants, the Nucla Naturita Visitor's Center, and a public library, all within walking distance. Its' surrounding areas offer plenty of opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast, such as world-famous 4x4 OHV trails, trophy hunting, mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, and rock climbing just minutes from your RV site.
IN WINTER, the area offers cross-country skiing and snowmobiling - a way from the Mega Ski Resorts in central Colorado! However, Telluride Ski Resort is 65 minutes northwest of town.
Pets are welcome; please keep them on a leash while walking the park. Be kind to fellow campers and pick up after your pet.
The SAN MIGUEL RIVER starts in the San Juan Mountains above Telluride and flows into the Dolores River near Uravan, Colorado. There is a raft and kayak launch a block away. The San Miguel flows through scenic canyons where anglers catch Rainbow and Brown Trout.
