The Colorado Chautauqua National Historic Landmark sets itself apart from other Boulder, Colorado destinations as an oasis of respite, rejuvenation and enlightenment -- offering inspired views of the Flatirons, front door access to Boulder's famous hiking trails, on-site cultural programming, tranquil accommodations and soul-nourishing cuisine at the Dining Hall. Choose from Missions House Lodge, Columbine Lodge and 58 cottages to meet your accommodation needs. Cottages are available in studio, 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom configurations, each with fully equipped kitchens and screened-in front porches. 5 cottages -- EPA Energy Star certified.

PETS ARE ALLOWED IN MOST COTTAGES: There is a $15 charge per pet, per night up to $120.

ARTS, CULTURE, DINING: Year-round concerts, speakers, educators, family-friendly activities, festivals. On-site dining featuring local, organic Colorado-bistro cuisine. Summer General Store serves ice cream, grab-n-go snacks, beverages and sundries.


Founded in 1898 and named a National Historic Landmark in 2006, the Colorado Chautauqua offers beautiful gathering and lodging spaces on 26 acres at the foot of Boulder's Flatirons. We host a large variety of wedding ceremonies, receptions, family reunions, meetings and retreats. On-site catering services available.

MISSIONS HOUSE LODGE: Built in 1911, the Missions House Lodge is a wonderful venue for a small wedding or family reunion and features a full kitchen eight bedrooms with private baths and a screened-in front porch with lovely views.

THE GRAND ASSEMBLY OF THE CHAUTAUQUA COMMUNITY HOUSE: Our largest meeting space was built in 1918, the Grand Assembly features a bay window, gas fireplace, wrap-around indoor balcony and a large covered porch.

THE PICNIC SHELTER: Located just south of the historic Chautauqua Auditorium (b.1898) and at the base of two popular hiking trails, the Picnic Shelter is a great choice for a casual family gathering.
