West of Trinidad nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Southern Colorado With 73 year-round campsites. Recreational opportunities include hiking, fishing, & boating on the 800 acre lake.
Near Collbran, the Park's 109 campsites and 5 cabins (microwave & refrigerator) surround the lake. A great year-round destination for birding, hiking among the aspen, fishing (ice) and cross-country skiing.
In the Yampa Valley west of Steamboat Springs, is three "Parks" in one. 134-mile stretch of the Yampa River is the heart of the Park access rafting, canoeing & kayaking. 50 campsites. Tipi open 5/15-10/15.
